Start typing your city and pick it from the list. The map shows the sky for that city, not for the street, which is the right level of detail for a keepsake.
If you don’t remember the time, leave it blank. The map uses noon, local clock time (daylight saving included for that place and year), and says so. If you choose an approximate time, like after dinner, the map shows that chosen time.

What if I moved in during the day? Pick the time you want to remember. An evening works, and so does the afternoon, when the map shows the Sun among the stars.
Can I make one for a home we’ve lived in for years? Yes. The map works for any date between 1900 and 2100, so you can choose the day you first arrived.
What happens to my address and details? The preview runs in your browser, so nothing you type into it is sent or stored. If you order through Etsy, you submit your personalization there. If you save or share an image, it includes the details you leave on it.
